Description:
Barramundi (Lates calcarifer) Insulin-like Growth Factor-I (Barramundi IGF-I) is a 66 amino acid polypeptide. While IGF-I is known to stimulate growth and differentiation in many cell types and to mediate many of the anabolic properties of growth hormone, the status of the IGF-I / growth hormone axis is currently under investigation in fish.
