For human IGF-I EIA, use Novozymes GroPep's IGF-I antibody (monoclonal) (Product Code: MAM1) (500 µg).

Reconstitute the vial in 500 µl sterile distilled or Milli-Q water. Allow to stand at room temperature for at least 10 minutes before use.

After reconstitution, a dilution of 1/160 will give an absorbance of 1.0 at 490 nm when reacted in an EIA plate coated with 25 ng / well of human IGF-I, a 1/2,000 dilution of HRP-labelled anti-mouse IgG (DAKO PO447) and a 1 mg/ml OPD substrate solution.

ED₅₀ for this assay is ~20 ng human IGF-I per well.
